Individual Narrative

Our group has worked together taking the charrettes, comments, and our researched artist to create a concept for the design of our building. The artist influenced the concept of pushing and pulling. We have designed the layout of our floors to push and pull away from the original shape in order to accent different areas. We also used the charrettes to create a more open, fluid floor plan. We have more open public areas, while the private areas are more closed off. The floor plan was considered and the adjacencies of the rooms were took into consideration. Therefore, the group is now considering which rooms will be pulled and pushed in order to create an interesting exterior of the building.
